These terms apply to your use of Funetical, operated by Funetical Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who can use Funetical
You must be at least 13 years old to use Funetical. By signing up you confirm that you are.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. We use email-based one-time codes, so keep your email account secure. Let us know at hello@funetical.com if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
Acceptable use
You may use Funetical for personal, non-commercial language learning. You must not:
- attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content
- do anything that disrupts or damages the service
- use the service for any unlawful purpose
Our content
The vocabulary data, example sentences, audio recordings, and software that make up Funetical are owned by Funetical Limited or licensed to us. You may use them for your own learning but may not copy or redistribute them.
Your content
When you add words or collections, you keep ownership of what you create. You give us permission to store and display that content to provide the service. We do not claim any broader rights over it.
Service availability
We aim to keep Funetical running reliably but cannot guarantee it will always be available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice where possible.
Limitation of liability
Funetical is provided as a language learning aid. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top when we do. Continued use of Funetical after a change means you accept the updated terms.
